Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
Not everyone processes things by sitting still and talking. Therapy here works with you, in games, creativity, or meaningful conversation.

Virtual counselling that fits your comfort zone. Pick what works for you today: voice, video, or something more creative. You're in control, and you can switch things up anytime.
Perfect for busy days, patchy internet, or moments when you just want to chat without the extra pressure. No need to find the right background, lighting, or expression. Just your voice is enough.
Find a quiet, comfy space and let's talk. We can screen share, brainstorm on a virtual whiteboard, or work through resources together. Great for goal-setting, creative problem-solving, or for those who enjoy seeing who they're talking to.
For those who find traditional therapy overwhelming or hard to sit through. This approach offers a more flexible, low-pressure way to connect through a game that's familiar to you. We can play together or you could share what you're playing while we talk, a kind of parallel play where we explore real-world challenges through gameplay and metaphors.
Have something different in mind? Let's make it work together.
Whether you're going through something specific or just feeling stuck, this space is for you.
For when conversations stay stuck in your head long after they’re over. Anxiety can make everyday situations feel tense, overwhelming, or unsafe. Together, we can work on ways to understand and build a sense of safety, and find strategies that make social situations and daily life feel more manageable
Sometimes gaming feels like the only place where your body can relax or your mind can slow down. Rather than seeing this as a problem, we can explore what gaming provides; focus, regulation, connection, or relief, and how those same qualities can be supported in other parts of life. Sessions can gently support balance, routines, and wellbeing, without taking away interests that matter to you.
Life can feel loud and demanding, with too many expectations and not enough space to recover. Overwhelm might show up as shutdown, withdrawal, irritability, or difficulty keeping up with daily tasks. In therapy, we can slow things down, identify what’s contributing to the overload, and work toward feeling more settled, supported, and able to engage in everyday life.
You might be neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or someone who has never quite felt like they fit in. This is the space where being different isn’t the problem, it’s the point. Therapy can support understanding yourself more deeply and find ways to connect with others while staying true to who you are
Pressure to perform, keep up, or have everything figured out can affect people at any age. This might look like school refusal, burnout, loss of motivation, or difficulty making decisions. Sessions can support planning, confidence, emotional regulation, and finding realistic ways to approach expectations, one step at a time.
Sometimes there isn’t a clear problem, just a sense that things aren’t working as well as they could be. That’s a valid place to begin. Therapy can help make sense of what’s happening, support emotional wellbeing, and build skills for navigating daily life, even when there isn’t a crisis or clear label.

I'm a Level 2 ACA registered counsellor, and I believe the best therapy happens when it’s built around you.
I believe therapeutic conversations happen best in spaces that feel safe, familiar, and comfortable, where talking isn’t pressured, and you can engage in ways that feel natural and authentic. Gaming therapy is one approach I use, as it's a source of comfort we can bring into our sessions to help you feel grounded. Games can bring up frustration, joy, connection, and everything in between, and we explore these experiences together in real time. They also provide insights into how you interact with the world. I work predominantly with children, teens and young adults navigating anxiety, social challenges, identity exploration, and general overwhelm. I also draw on CBT, ACT, DBT, Narrative therapy, mindfulness, and grounding techniques to find what works best for you. Sessions are online, flexible, and collaborative, and together, we write a story that you want to tell about your life.
Crafting Thoughts is about therapy that fits your life, your pace, and your needs, whether you’re navigating everyday stress, facing big challenges, or just need someone to talk to. In this space, you have choice and control over your therapy, including how we spend our time together and what feels most helpful for you.

Some people find traditional talk therapy challenging and may feel anxious,
disengaged, or tempted to leave sessions early. Gaming therapy helps reduce
that pressure by meeting you in a space that feels comfortable, familiar,
and enjoyable.
Games can be played together, supporting communication, teamwork, and connection,
or you might share your gameplay while we talk. For many people, games provide a
natural way to regulate emotions and stay present during difficult conversations.
Incorporating games and special interests into therapy can reduce avoidance and
shutdown, and can be particularly supportive for neurodivergent, anxious, or
trauma-impacted individuals.
Not at all. Gaming is an option, not a requirement.
Some people prefer a more traditional therapy structure, others enjoy a mix,
and some like to decide on the day. We’ll work together to find what feels right
for you.
Yes. Everything you share is confidential, and your privacy is a priority.
All you need is a private, quiet space to attend sessions, shared areas like
living rooms can make it harder to speak freely.
If others are present or able to overhear, written consent will be required for them to remain.
There’s very little to prepare, just bring yourself.
If we’ll be gaming together, let your therapist know ahead of time so we can organise
your gaming ID and make sure we’re on compatible platforms.
Before your session, it can help to quickly check your internet connection, microphone,
and camera so we can settle in and make the most of our time together.
